intERLab spearheaded a remarkable project which focused on the development of an IoT platform (SEA-Hazemon) designed to monitor forest fires and air pollution, employing cutting-edge LoRa technology. The project was funded by the National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC) and this project was showcased at NBTC’s Broadcasting and Telecommunications Research and Development Fund for Public Interest (BTFP) event on November 16, 2023, at PEARL Bangkok, and received an overwhelming response from attendees, including students, researchers and the general public who are interested in technology.

From the intERLab team, Dr. Adisorn Lertsinsrubtavee, Raunak Mukhia, and Kalana G.S. Jayarathna attended the event in-person to highlight the project.

The core component of the laboratory will be on research activities.
