Dumbo Network Demonstration
At the Mae Sa Elephant Camp, the intERLab team invited AINTEC’s friends to experience their 2014 DUMBO network. As compared to their DUMBO 2006, the 2014 DUUMBO took less then 30 minutes to set up with two mobile routers (MR1 and MR2). An elephant platoon was launched with eight elephants with 24 people forming a mesh network using OLSR. During the 30 minutes elephant ride in the jungle, participants could use their smart phones or tablets to take photos and shared their experiences through the DumboSocApp. Besides, a live VDO streaming was also broadcast from the front elephant to all participants in the elephant platoon.
