Objectives

Train University network engineering staff on how to develop a strategic design plan for their campus networks
Learn to implement best practices in campus network design, with particular emphasis on layers 1 and 2
Improve technical skills with university network personnel in operating their physical network

Topics Covered

Campus Network Design Principles and NREN models (1 day)
Switching architecture and Layer 2 design with hands on lab (1 day)
On-campus routing/OSPF/ISIS with hands on lab (1 day)
Network monitoring and management introduction/tutorial (2 days)
