Workshop for TEIN2 NOC Engineers
Date : 3 - 6 October 2007
Venue : Training room, intERLab, AIT, Thailand

The TEIN2 Workshop is targeted at bringing network operation personnel from the TEIN2 beneficiary countries together and to bring them all to the level qualified for the operation/management network and/or the support of TEIN2 applications. A 3-day Hands-on practical workshop will be organized by intERLab/AIT, for Senior Engineers (Group B), specifically TEIN2 network operation only.

Objectives:

To support TEIN2 applications

- How to support IP Multicast and streaming media such as DVTS
- Bandwidth Allocation
- Performance Monitoring and Evaluation

Trainers: : APAN JP NOC, Juniper and intERLab

Trainees

TEIN2 support 2 trainees from each beneficiary country. Additional attendees are welcome at own cost. Trainees should belong to each NREN specializing on facilitating distance education on beneficiary’s NREN.
