Biography of instructor:
Brent Lee, senior technical manager of Web Commerce Communications Limited,
Registry and registrar operation technical personnel. Brent is currently
working in WEBNIC maintaining WEBNIC registrar system, HKDNR and CDNIC
registry system. He is the core engineer for the WEBNIC registry and
registrar system. He has over 8 years of project implementation experience
which 4 years are in domain name industry.
Brent has numerous experiences in EPP such as integration to Verisign,
Neulevel, SGNIC, CNNIC, CDNIC, EURID, Afilias and PIR. He has completed
the construction for CDNIC and HKDNR EPP server and client SDK.
Besides EPP, Brent is currently handling the DNS services for WEBNIC and
CDNIC. He is familiar with Dynamic DNS and the feature is implemented in
WEBNIC registryASP registry system. WebNIC has implemented IDN into zone
file, Brent has experience in the procedure and steps required to perform
IDN resolution at zone level.
Champika Wijayatunga is a Senior Training Specialist at the Asia Pacific Network Information Centre (APNIC), the Regional Internet Registry for Asia Pacific. He is responsible for development and delivery of regular face-to-face training and technical workshops for the APNIC region.
His areas of interest includes Internet Resource Management, DNS, Security, Routing & IPv6. Prior to APNIC he worked as a Software Systems Specialist, Systems Engineer, an Instructor at IBM Corporation (IBM Sri Lanka) and as a Research Associate at the Asian Institute of Technology in Bangkok, Thailand. Champika is currently based in Brisbane, Australia and has a Bachelors degree in Electronics Engineering and a Masters degree in Computer Science & Engineering.
