Objectives: To assists current / prospective APNIC members and other interested parties to request internet resources (IP address, ASN, reverse DNS delegation) the easy way. And also to keep them up-to-date and familiar with the latest policies and procedures. Who should attend? Technical personnel who are responsible for allocating and/or assigning IP addresses such as hostmaster employees of network information centers or ISPs, network planners, designers, and network engineers or other interested persons are welcome to attend the Training. Prerequisite None Registration Amante Alvaran: Amante Alvaran has extensive experience on data network engineering and administration in the data networking and telecommunications industry. His areas of expertise include networkdesign, implementation, administration, IP routing and network security, among others. Currently, he works with APNIC as a training officer conducting trainings, tutorials and workshops in the APNIC member countries within the Asia Pacific Region. He also developed the training modules for IP Routing and Network Security, which he teaches as part of APNIC's regular training offerings. He is also responsible for the development of the IPv6 Services workshop modules. Further, he is a Cisco certified engineer. Arth Paulite: Arth Paulite has been working in the industry on systems and network operations for over 10 years. He has worked with APNIC for more than 4 years evaluating Internet resource requirements and conducting advance DNS workshop. Areas of expertise include IP services and IP routing protocols. The last couple of years Arth has been working extensively in the security area of DNS. Prior to joining APNIC, he worked for Cable internet provider, and has more than 6 years of data networking experience. Arth holds a Bachelors degree in Computer Engineering.
