Objectives
To enable participants to understand the basic principles of TCP/IP networking, the rules governing IP address classes and netmasks, to bring interfaces up and down, to use network monitoring tools and to configure Internet routing.

Course Contents
This course covers fundamental and advanced UNIX network administration. It focuses on an introduction to TCP/IP networking under UNIX, Internet routing as well as network monitoring and debugging. The course covers the following topics:
- Basic Concept of TCP/IP
- Configuration of interfaces
- Static Routing
- Dynamic Routing (RIP, OSPF)
- Trouble Shooting

Instructor's brife biography
Yasuo Tsuchimoto is an Assistant Professor at Graduate school of Media and Governance, Keio University. He received his Ph.D. in Media and Governance from Keio University in 2004. He is currently a technical committee of Internet Architecture, IEICE and a member of WIDE Project which is the research consortium of Internet technology and first ISP in Japan. He has been working as network operator of WIDE Internet for more than 10 years and now working in Thailand to establish the super broadband network for R&D community.View all trainings
