intERLab donated wireless routers with “Dumbo Technology” for Philippines

intERLab has donated 33 wireless router as an aid for the Typhoon “Yolanda/Haiyan” that recently hit the country Philippines. This wireless router are equipped with “Dumbo Technology” which can be used to setup an emergency wireless network easily in places that requires network connectivity but the infastructure has been destroyed. This can be used also as an internet gateway optionally. The routers has been received by Mr. Bayani Benjamin Lara of  PREGINET.

Last 26 June 2013  Kanchana Kanchanasut  is  inducted as INTERNET HALL of FAME PIONEER  by the Internet Society based in Geneva, Switzerland.  Kanchana Kanchanasut is affectionately referred to as the “Mother of the Internet in Thailand” and she is the director of Internet Education and Research Laboratory at the at the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) in Thailand. She was among

Prof. Kanchana is widely credited as being the person who introduced email and the internet to Thailand twenty-five years ago. The first person to introduce electronic mail and the Internet to Thailand.   To a large degree, it was her own upbringing that has given her the motivation to work through all the difficulties she’s faced in connecting Thailand to the Internet.
